Planters

These planters are perfect for those who don’t have a lot of space and want to grow some fresh produce. They can also be great if you want to grow herbs or flowers. All you need is a large bucket, which you can find at any hardware store, and some paint. You can even put a lid on it so it doesn’t spill out dirt. This project takes about an hour to complete and costs less than $5. The best part? You can take it with you anywhere! Potted plants:

If you have room for a raised bed, this might be your best option. It would be a lot easier to harvest your fruits and vegetables from these raised beds as opposed to getting on the ground every time you need something from your garden. Plus, they look really nice outside too! You can make these raised beds by using cinder blocks or wood boards as the base and covering them in the dirt.

Potting Bench

This is one of the best DIY Gardening Station ideas because not only does it provide you with a place to work, but it also provides you with the perfect storage solution. You can keep all your gardening tools in this station and carry them out to your garden when you need them. To make this project, all you need is some plywood, screws, metal brackets, and paint.

First, cut the wood into 4’x2′ pieces or smaller if that’s what you prefer. Next, attach 2″ metal brackets to the middle of each board for attaching shelves later on. Once that is done, screw together the boards to create a square frame and then attach the top piece of plywood. After that, just paint your potting station any color you want!

Garden Trellis

This elevated garden bed is perfect for when you want to grow fruits and vegetables vertically. This project is super easy and affordable, costing only a few bucks in materials. Plus, if you have a spot in your backyard that needs a little something extra, this would be the best option.

Composter

You can build this planter with any size of the planter—but if you want to store more compost, go with a larger one. You only need two materials, both of which are inexpensive: a bucket that’s large enough to fit your planter and a length of wire fencing. Simply drill holes in the sides of the bucket, line the inside with wire fencing, and plant your seeds.

Greenhouse

If you’re looking for something that will last all year, consider building a greenhouse. The best part? It’s easy to do! You can make your own for about $100 by following the instructions on this blog post.

-Wooden boards

-Stakes for anchoring down boards to the ground

-Screws

Concrete Pit for Bulbs

Build a concrete pit in your backyard for planting bulbs!

This is the perfect DIY Gardening Station if you have a lot of bulbs you want to plant. It’s also great for perennials, but just remember that the bulbs will need to be in the ground by November 1st so they can grow deep roots before freezing weather arrives.

Materials

– Concrete

– Grass

– Bucket

– Shovel

Instructions

1) First, dig down about two feet in your backyard. If you have clay, you may want to add some sand or pea gravel to help with drainage.

2) After digging, pour in your concrete mix and smooth out with a trowel or wood float until it becomes level. Pour enough to create a mound that is two feet tall and three feet wide. The top should still be at ground level after it’s finished drying. If any cracks appear on the surface of the concrete, fill them with the extra concrete mix before it dries out completely.

3) Next, plant bulbs around the outside of the pit and water them well when they are planted. Bulbs should be planted about an inch below ground level so they don’t poke through the surface of the soil while it’s still wet from watering

Shade Tree

One of the most popular DIY gardening stations is the Shade Tree—a simple way to provide protection for your plants in a raised bed. You can make one with a few boards and some old tires. First, assemble the board and use it as a frame for your shade tree. Then, set up three or four old tires around your frame so that they are evenly spaced out. Finally, fill them with dirt to create a raised bed for your plants. This DIY station is great because it provides both sun protection and water retention due to the raised bed.

These ideas are very easy to try, you can pick anyone that best suits your preference.
